Dalmatian Street Day!!

Day 5 (A Day Late Actually): What is Atomic Cartoons working on now?

We'd like to sincerely apologize for the late post of the 5th day of Dalmatian Street day, but due to real-life struggles we're going through, we couldn't get this article posted on schedule yesterday. We hope you understand.

The Daily Puppy continues with its week-long celebration of Dalmatian Street Day on Day 5! It's still hard to believe that it's been three years since 101 Dalmatian Street officially aired on television on March 18,2019. As we know, the chance for a Season 2 all depends on the show's popularity, and that's what we're aiming for. 101DS is one of the few shows that's not been marketed by Disney Branded Television (The division that markets most Disney medias, including those from Disney Television Animation), which is why the show's existence to the public was minimal. In the meantime, you're all probably wondering what the show's staff have been up to after wrapping up production for Season 1.

Well, we can't dissect every staff member's personal career or what projects they're working on, (Especially due to non-disclosure agreements) but we can certainly give you an insider of what animated media is being worked on under the animated company of origin: Atomic Cartoons, a Canadian-British animation studio that was responsible for the show's gorgeous animation and visuals.

First off, there probably a few of you who had watched the show but never paid attention to who was responsible for the show's stunning animation & storytelling, 101 Dalmatian Street was made by a British-Canadian company Atomic Cartoons, a London-based company Passion Animation Studios, the animation portion of a larger company Passion. The shorts themselves were made by another animation company, Gigglebug Entertainment, where 101 Dalmatian Street first came into fruition before being picked up by Atomic Cartoons and Passion Studios. Now that you know the studios of 101DS's origin, let's take a look at what current/future projects Atomic Cartoons are working on as of right now!

Pinecone & Pony

Pinecone & Pony is a future project that's currently in production at Atomic Cartoons. It stars a young girl named Pinecone who dreams to one day be a warrior. Pinecone & Pony will be released as an exclusive on Apple's streaming service, Apple tv +in 2022.

The current status of the series is unknown, but is available to watch on Netflix.

Curious George

Curious Geroge is a 2006 children's animated comedy series and a follow-up to the 2006 film of the same name. It is also an adaptation of a book series from the 1930's by H.A. Rey and Margret Ray. The series is currently ongoing and currently airs on PBS Kids.

And there you have it. It really doesn't have anything 101DS-related, but it would certainly let the people of Atomic Cartoons know how much we support 101 Dalmatian Street and all the hard work they've put into it.
